Written Assignment 2 Follow Up American History since 1977

Q HERE IS YOUR FOLLOW UP QUESTION: POST YOUR ANSWER TO THE APPROPRIATE FORUM (an appropriate response should be between 250-300 words): Fairly MODERN history: On September 11, 2001, terrorists slammed airliners into the World Trade Center buildings in NYC and the Pentagon in Virginia…killing over 3000 civilians (more deaths than we lost at Pearl Harbor). On November 9th, 2009, a muslim U.S. Army Major…Nidal Malik Hasan…killed 13 people and injured 30 more at Fort Hood. The President classified this as a “work place violence” incident. Recently, some “radicals” attacked locations in Paris. 130 people were killed including 89 at the Bataclan Theater. ISIL (The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant)(The Levant, by the way, is a Crusader term for the Holy Land). Discuss those events. Do you think that President Obama was correct when we said that these were “isolated incidents”? The recent 2-person attack in San Bernardino was tragic. Was THIS “an isolated incident”? What do you think we should DO about all of this? And now we have the events in Brussels… Now, think logically….assuming, perhaps, that you are the President of the U.S. and not President Trump. What should we do about all of this NOW?!
